Leonard da Vinci School Creates Short Video on Single-Use Plastic in Neonatology

AMDR congratulates Leonard da Vinci School students for their short video documentary, “911 – It’s an Emergency Single-Use Plastic in Neonatology.”  The students won Sacramental County Champions with their video!  Asher Ballard, Harry Corless, Lily Dasinger, Ainsley Fong and Alyssa Story will go on to compete in the California State History Day competition May 10.  Their video includes a discussion of the negative implications of increased used of plastics in medical devices, but at 7:20 minutes in, notes medical device reprocessing as a key solution.  AMDR appreciates the opportunity.  Our members are committed to increasing patient safety, reducing costs and reducing medical waste.  AMDR’s Dan Vukelich interviewed at 8:30 minutes.  All the best to these students at State!
