AMDR’s Dan Vukelich will present on the value and benefits of reprocessing at Yale University as part of the Workshop on Environmental Sustainability in Clinical Care. The workshop, which is invitation only, draws from a select group of around 40 experts in medicine, sustainability engineering, health administration, and quality-safety-value to tackle the issue of resource consumption and environmental emissions associated with medicine and health care services.
The workshop is hosted by Yale School of Medicine, NYU Langone Health, NYU Wagner Graduate School of Service and Yale School of Public Health. Bringing together experts in engineering, sustainability science, clinical care and health systems management, the workshop includes panel sessions and breakout discussions around specific topics which will form the framework for setting the future directions of sustainability in clinical services. These discussions will be summarized in a workshop white paper. Read More.
