Dan Vukelich, President of the Association of Medical Device Reprocessors, was recently chosen to be a featured speaker at the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management’s (IAHCSMM) 2013 annual conference, May 5-8 in San Diego, California. Vukelich’s presentation, titled Business and International Regulatory Developments in the Reprocessing of “Single-Use” Medical Devices, will focus on the evolving landscape of healthcare, both domestically, which has changed drastically since the passage of the Affordable Care Act, and internationally, where budgets are continuously being slashed as a result of poor economic conditions. Further, Vukelich will discuss currently available solutions, such as single-use medical device reprocessing, whereby hospitals and healthcare providers can alleviate budget concerns and still provide the highest quality of care to their patients.
