AMDR joins the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses to celebrate Nurses Week! To celebrate its nurses this week and beyond, AORN released a video from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that captures the extensive work and dedication nurses bring to the healthcare industry.

Nurses are health care researchers, administrators, educators, soldiers, and more Nurses Shatter the Stereotype

On National Nurses Week the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius described:

National Nurses Week gives us a chance to recognize the contribution of the health care providers at the heart of our health care system.  Every day, nurses provide leadership, innovation and advocacy to meet the health care needs of Americans […]  The role nurses play is more important than ever.  The success of the Affordable Care Act, and the expansion of access to health care that it offers, will not be possible without these trusted professionals.

Please join AMDR in thanking our nation’s nurses for the critical work they do in bringing better, and more sustainable care to all Americans.
