2:00 PM – 3:15 PM ET

The Healthier Hospitals Initiative has helped hospitals and health systems link environmental innovation with cost savings and healthier communities. Kaiser Permanente is one of the leaders. During this webinar, Kaiser Permanente will demonstrate how the initiative helped it achieve cost savings and ultimately free up resources for other investments. Kaiser Permanente will also discuss its Sustainability Scorecard, a tool the company created to encourage suppliers to provide green products for the healthcare sector. Kaiser Permanente will be joined by Health Care Without Harm & Practice Green Health to show how the combination of Healthier Hospitals and the scorecard are addressing some of the environmental factors that contribute to disease in the broader population, trimming healthcare costs and saving hospitals money.
