CleanMed Europe 2020: The “eco-responsible” healthcare congress

Medical devices used in healthcare also have an adverse effect on the environment. Part of the problem concerns, in particular, single-use devices, which encourage an accumulation of waste, which is ultimately unsustainable. Speakers agreed that strategies must be put in place to promote the reconditioning and recycling of such devices. Initiatives in this direction already exist in some countries and only need to be developed elsewhere.
