Hogy Medical Company Limited and Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) have announced a comprehensive business alliance in the medical business field. The new alliance will focus on 3 main business opportunities, one of which is the reprocessing of single-use devices. The media outlet Asia One is reporting, based on the official press release, that the decision to focus on reprocessing is in response to “projections that the demand for SUD reprocessing is expected to increase in Japan due to its cost advantage and effective resource utilization as well as its positive impact on environmental conservation.”
