Each year, U.S. News & World Report releases their annual list of the Best Hospitals across the country, by specialty, including the highly coveted “Honor Roll” list that distinguishes the hospitals best ranked out of nearly 5,000 hospitals evaluated. This year, only 147 hospitals were ranked nationally in one or more specialties to be determined as a “Best Hospital,” and of these, 18 hospitals made the cut to be among those in the “Honor Roll.”  In order to qualify as “Honor Roll,” hospitals must score at the top in at least 6 out of 16 medical specialties.
This year, the Association of Medical Device Reprocessors (AMDR) is proud to announce that its members currently serve 16 out of 18 hospitals in the U.S. News & World Report’s “Honor Roll” List.  In addition to this achievement, AMDR member companies also serve a majority of the hospitals that ranked among the top 10 in Cardiology and Heart Surgery (9 out of 10 hospitals served by AMDR member companies), and Orthopedics (8 out of 10 hospitals served).
